ISLAS BALEARES
Title: “Gotham slum”.
Technique: acrylic, eco enamel with preparation and fabric markers

Inspiration

“This is an homage to Gaudi’s futuristic designs. It includes references to the megacity of L.A., The Fifth Element, Jodorowsky’s Incal series and the films Blade Runner, Total Recall and even Alien.

The top shell of the dress, or vest, is inspired in the more organic side of his ideas. It’s alive. I’ve used faded colors for the white, intense blue and light blue in references to his wonderful sketches. Black or gray marker for the dress, creating a “Gotham slum”, a tribute to Gaudí’s futuristic designs”.
