Title: “MONTJUIK XXV

Technique: Acrylic on canvas

Inspiration

The work “Montjuik XXV” is created as a form of confluence between history, futurism and experimental technology. between history, futurism and experimental technique. This piece, a dress dress painted with fluorescent acrylics, transports us to a vision of the 25th century, where humanity 25th century, where humanity, after surviving successive self-inflicted holocausts, has self-inflicted holocausts, has risen and rebuilt its cities from the ashes.

The core of the work is a building reconstructed on the ruins of the historic Montjuïc Palace in Palace of Montjuïc in Barcelona. This representation not only acts as a bridge as a bridge between the past and the future, but also as a testament to human resilience and the capacity for human resilience and the ability to reinvent oneself in the face of adversity. The building, in all its futuristic splendor, shines with a luminosity that symbolizes hope and renewal. symbolizes hope and renewal.

The technique used, combining acrylic paint with fluorescent colors, creates a duality of color. fluorescent colors, creates an evident visual duality. During the day, the architectural architectural details and the majesty of the building come alive with vibrant colors and meticulous vibrant colors and meticulously crafted textures. The daytime scene shows us a post-apocalyptic a post-apocalyptic panorama where nature and technology coexist in harmony, reflecting a society that has harmony, reflecting a society that has learned from its mistakes and has adapted. adapted.

However, it is in the darkness where “Montjuik XXV” reveals its true magic. reveals its true magic. The building glows with an ethereal, almost supernatural light, that transforms the viewer’s perception. The overrated structure, weightless and flaming, it adds an element of science fiction that defies the laws of physics and invites us laws of physics and invites us to imagine a future where the impossible has become possible. possible.

The role of the dress as a canvas is particularly significant. This unusual not only defies the conventions of traditional painting, but also adds a layer of symbolism. but also adds a layer of symbolism. The dress, a garment that envelops and and protects, becomes a metaphor for humanity embracing its own rebirth, covering itself with renaissance, covering itself with history and the future simultaneously.

As a whole, “Montjuik XXV” is a work that invites deep reflection on human evolution, the destruction on human evolution, destruction and reconstruction, and the never-ending capacity to dream of the and the never-ending capacity to dream of better futures. The presentation of this Montjuïc itself adds a layer of historical and emotional resonance, making this exhibition an immersive and unforgettable experience.

This work is a statement of optimism and a reminder that, even in the darkest of times, the in the darkest of times, the light of creativity and innovation can guide us to a brighter tomorrow  guide us to a brighter tomorrow.
